Spearhead Thanksgiving Food Drive 09

This year, we extended the Food Drive to two days. We started on Saturday 26th at George's Play on Church (during Bingo). We received food and monetary donations. Spearhead members helped raise even more money with a 50/50 draw and we also played "Jacks Famous Card Game". (..the card game being that a full deck of cards is glued to a board and people buy a chance to win a prize ... they write their name on the cards and when they are turned over, they may say 'prize' on the other side. ) On this day, we raised approximately $1600 for our charity.

A big thank you goes out to our Vice President, Rob Jeyes and his committee (and helpers). Also, thank you to everybody who attended and participated in this event.
