Spearhead Easter Fooddrive

Toronto is in the midst of a winter which may just break records for snowfall. This didn't stop our event or patrons from coming in from the cold to participate. We had some guys travel as from as far as St. Catherines to be here! (thanks guys!!)

During the afternoon, the bar, George's Play on Church Street, had its bingo games, hosted by one of our favourite Drag Queens (artist), Burger.

We sold 50/50 tickets and also had the famous Spearhead 'Card' game. The Card game is a game of chance ... each card from a deck of card is individually pasted face down on a bristol board and customers pay to put their names on the cards. Once the board is full of names, the cards are overturned and each JOKER, ACE, KING ... and I think QUEEN turned over indicates a prize to be given out to the person whose name is on the other side.

We had prizes donated from several of the local business's. Joe Poirier was responsible for donating and uncountable number of food baskets .. thanks Joe!
