The weather forecast had included the possibility of rain but it wasn't to be. It was really hot out on the patio of the Black Eagle but they had the air conditioning on high inside. People had to go inside to get a drink and they could cool down at the same time.
The usual suspects, Ron and Kevin, helped out by selling 50/50 tickets. The tickets not only bought a chance to win 1/2 of the proceeds but there were other door prizes that could be won.
